Dude is a genius.
While Dabo circles the drain refusing to adapt to the modern shite show and while the rest of college football chases the shiniest object in the portal etc etc, Kirbs has created his own hybrid monster lurking quietly
We are stacked so deep fellows. Our defense is everything you’d expect from a Kirby defense and our offense is a relentless unstoppable wrecking ball
Feels like early 2021 all over again
I’ve seen enough. We win it all this year.

I like our team. I like our coaching. I like our talent. I think I like our depth, but I'm not sure about the experience level. On offense, I'd feel much better if Helton was 3rd string guard learning the ropes right now. Or even if he was a 2nd team defensive tackle, where a mistake isn't so likely to disrupt the play and maybe blow up the qb. I'd feel more confident about our OL depth if a couple of those upperclassmen could've beat Helton out. Rest of the offense is just fine, but still I'm waiting to see how Gunner operates when a good defense attacks the LOS. Can he stand in the pocket, process quickly and make them pay for being overaggressive? That improves with experience, but some moreso than others.
On defense, I like our secondary and top 3 or 4 linebackers. If healthy, those guys can play championship football by the end of the season. The DL has a lot of potential, but still has to prove themself against a great OL. They need to stay healthy too, goes without saying but very important at that position so we can rotate. Edge rush, I have no idea. Losing Amaris Williams and now Chase Linton is a continuation of a long running crapfest of luck at that position.

I don’t think enough has been written or said on how Kirby is uniquely approaching the current cfb crisis
I used to call him Sick Naban. Because his approach was to be a Nick Saban cover band
But Saban quit when the sport got to this. And now it’s Kirby navigating uncharted waters and creating the maps
I like what I’m seeing. onward

Agree with you 100%. The first team players look ready to do some damage. But, after that?
