Real or gamesmanship? We'll see if he's actively practicing this week.

Weird injury. He got up from the contact and looked fine and then goes down?

You kinda feel it immediately with a separated shoulder.

I can't speak for a separated shoulder, but I broke my collarbone spring of my Junior year and I played another 2-3 snaps. You get up and feel a tinge, but it almost felt like a pinched nerve....then it does it again and you know it is something more serious.

Anybody on here ever have a separated shoulder? I am curious.

My shoulder separates or suffers from subluxation. Extremely painful until it goes back into place. I have had both kidney stones and separated shoulders and the separated shoulder is worse. Pain level to me was a 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The kidney stone was a 7 or 8.

Cager has my respect.

He was screaming along the sidelines pretty badly. You could tell he was in a lot of pain. After the shoulder is popped back in place, how long until the pain is bearable? Are we talking minutes or days? It can't be easy to have a shoulder that tends to get separated and keep going out there. Seems like it happens to the same person time and time again.

separation and dislocation are 2 different things. separation involves teh collarbone and shoulder blade getting pulled apart. takes a long time to heal and is very painful. dislocation involves humerus coming out of joint and feels much better when it goes back in place. problem with dislocation is the rotator cuff is damaged. Cager is a tough guy for enduring that injury over and over..has my respect..

I've had both and I'll take a broken collarbone over a separated shoulder any day.My collarbone was set back in place and although I had to wear that goofy brace for a couple of weeks,I never had any type of issue with it again.

A separated shoulder is a pain in the arse.
You can easily hurt it again and mine never really healed properly.

Wonder if he got knocked out because he laid there in a really weird position from my angle.

He’s got a loose shoulder. Will need surgery in the offseason.
