Didn't there used to be a gigantic KFC chicken somewhere in the northwestern ATL sprawl quadrant that was a big deal for some reason? Is there a good story about that?

CheeseGrits, We're doing trivia. You're up. Come up with a good one and try to make it google-proof.

The Big Chicken?

Pretty sure that the big chicken was a Tech student's interpretation of "art"...a regular Michelangelo.

It looks like an airliner crashed into a KFC amd tjey painted the tail part like a chicken. ANd then, a thunderstorm was coming when they were in the middle of tacking up the capital "C" on it, so it didn't get lined up right.

The Big Chicken was built in 1963 as part of Johnny Reb’s Chick, Chuck and Shake. The then-called Kentucky Fried Chicken took over the Big Chicken in 1974.

Cheese Grits, Can we get a review of 'Johnny Reb's Chick, CHuck, and Shake'?
