Just now able to sort of think about this season with clarity

It's all still somewhat of a blur.
For the first few days I was thinking that it would've been better to lose by 2 or 3 or 4 touchdowns than have to deal with this BS way that we lost. Wouldn't have been all of the would've beens and BS calls/no calls (the offsides on the punt block when we were up 13-0 was BS but the procedure no call on the 4th and goal from the 3 is the one that was tremendous unforgivable horse frickkshit).
But now I'm thinking that it might be better to go down like we did. Our program earned a lot of respect from a whole bunch of rival fans. Had an USCe buddy text and say that Georgia got hosed and was the better team.
Not that any of that really amounts to a rat's arse. We still haven't won a national title in 37 years. 37 years might not seem like that long ago. But for perspective, 37 years before our last national title was WWII. That's not cool.
Second year, Kirby and Coach Richt both held up SECCG trophies with a 12-1 record and number 3 final regular season ranking. Just like everyone else I think that Kirby is better built to keep this pace up than Coach Richt, but there just aren't any guarantees. Might be another 37 years before we get back to the game. In 2055. That's what sucks. You just never know and we should've grabbed it and held on while we had it!!!

We will get at least one natty between Fromm and Fields.
ETA: have UGA fans ever been this confident that we’ll be competing for titles? We may be on the eve of the greatest run in UGA history.

We've got to recruit better at DL and CB.
With Richt, we struggled on the OL and roster management (which affected almost every position on the team. DL, ILB, DB, WR, RB, and QB).
I know that we could solve concerns at DL and CB in the next couple of weeks. But we are in a situation presently because we are desperate at those spots. That is a result of the past couple of classes. Kirby needs to fix this or we could be a program with holes that kick us down in the biggest games going forward.

January whatever today is, 2003 also felt a lot like the beginning of a serious reign of terror buddy smh. 13-1. One fluke Ohio State 4th and 19 completion away from playing in national title game. Spurrier was gone. Beat Tennessee for the 3rd time in a row a few months earlier. People were starting to say Fulmer was losing it. Nobody from the west really scared anybody (Saban was in the middle of building a monster at LSU but Dawg fans and no other fans had realized it yet).
Not trying to be Confucius or anything like that, but there are no guarantees and it sucks.

You should find more clarity.

I think a huge difference is recruiting. I have thought from the beginning that Kirby is a better coach, but if you take that out, you can’t ignore the difference in recruiting.
Richt’s first 4 classes were:
10th
9th
9th
7th
Kirby is shaping up to be:
6th
3rd
1st
Strong push for 1st in 2019.
That is a huge difference in rankings, not to mention the kind of players Kirby goes after.

I think Kirby does a perfect job of splitting the difference between the way the kids loved coriander the way the Bama players fear Saban.
