No idea what this means but being ranked at the end of the year is more important than being ranked after 3 or 4 games...somewhat common sense.

What matters is that “at the time” is the flawed way of doing it.

It also matters that other than his small cult - who appear to be mainly old crackers - the majority of the fan base acknowledge that Stetson Bennett is a mediocre quarterback. He's been carried on the strengths of a very talented team around him, and as a 6th year senior, it's telling that there hasn't been a peep of NFL interest in him.
