Well yeah, most fans have been wanting to get him in a pseudo Alvin Kamara/Percy Harvin role. Whenever they get him the ball in space, he just beelines it to the endzone.

Cook looks so much better this year.

Imma assuming hes improved his skills as he gets older but the new system has made him look so much better. More calls are to his strengths as a runner and not so many up the gut runs.

Absolutely true. Monken has learned the personnel as much as these kids have learned the system. With spring practice and a veteran laden team this could be amazing.

I'm so positive about it that I'm apprehensive.

First time he's been 100% since he arrived on campus.I was saying this all
Summer on here to obvious deaf ears.

His skill set has always been there.

That angle route out of the backfield that he scored on against Missouri is one of my two favorite routes in football (wheel route is the other). It is such a mismatch if the defense is in man coverage. There isn't a linebacker in America who can cover Cook one on one in open space.

We called it the bannana route in my playing days and always difficult to defend if the protection holds out.
