Do we or do we not have the best o-line in college football? That is the question.

Saw one site that had us -2.5

I imagine we might be getting points by game time

Regardless of how good the line is, Florida will get in the backfield. You act like Grantham isn't genuinely good at designing a pass rush.

I believe we have solidly whipped 3rd and Grantham's arse every time we've faced him since he left UGA?

They could be...but they have yet to play like it for an entire game. We have talent across the board in the 2-deep...no question. But their technique, will, or just experience or lack thereof shows when you look at guys like Trey Hill and Cade Mays.

Hill is solely the biggest liability on the line. The departure of Lamont was major. Hill is good at pass pro and he's good with his run blocking for the most part but my gosh does he get blown up often. Rewatch some tape, he's constantly getting blown back into the backfield or letting guys get him out of position/leverage. Cade's a beast, a mauler, but he tries to muscle up on guys and the good D-lineman will use that against him and have. Those guys have to be sound up the middle. If we can be sound up the middle, that helps the rushing attack, which will free up the pass, and hopefully set us up for success. When Trey stays on his man, stays low and has leverage, Solly, and Big Ben get in sync...the ball moves.

But if we get behind the sticks and get predictable, receivers obviously haven't shown the ability to just separate which makes us one dimensional for the wrong reasons.

UGA -4 would be my expectation.

A lot of gutless wonders in this thread. If you’re fricking scared, just say it.

Not scared, but worried that if our offense isn't much better that it has been so far this season we will lose. We have no passing game that any team is afraid to face.

Wilson had a difficult time with Kinlaw vs SC and he still gets confused on basic stunts.

To be fair, most guys are going to struggle with Kinlaw. He's a 1st rounder for a reason. It's all the other boneheaded whiffs, free releases, and abuses to the other guys here and there by multiple people on the line that makes you shake your head.

I've posted a video multiple times of the pic 6 vs SC.Wilson completely whiffs on a very basic stunt that Ultimately led to the pic.Its not like he was bull rushed him or anything and Shaffer did a very good job of picking up the DE.

I saw a couple lines UGA -5.5/6. Money will come in on Florida at that line and dawgs will be around -2.5 is my guess at kickoff

Struggled against ND, Kentucky and lost to USC. You are probably right but those are teams to me

Trask is going to be a problem. SEC East become much more difficult to win when Franks went down. Trask is legit. Fortunately, I think our defense can limit the damage. But they're going to score and we will lose if our offense looks like it has.

Yes, those are teams, but you said "struggled and lost" - conjunctive, not disjunctive. We have only lost to one team.

Kinda makes you wonder what in the hell Mullen was thinking, letting Franks start all last year and part of this one...Oh wait...Trask was injured all of last year, correct?

I'm amazed at some of the end zone camera angles showing NOBODY running routes in the middle. Toughest throws in football are down the sideline and for some reason we insist on running those routes over and over again...
