So do you still think they have given up? The WRs played like we all expected they would play with a decent QB throwing the ball. No other team this season will play the run like MSU did after seeing JT throw the ball. We should finish the season 8-2 and in the top 10. I would love to see the Rose Bowl invite us to play Southern California.

Stop crying, UGA fans have gotten spoiled. This is not a normal season, teams have had to contend with things we couldn't imagine 1 year ago just to play a season for their school.
We are still better off than 10 other teams in the SEC.

Everything here is spot on. Being 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC is OK if it is OK. Being #2 in the east is OK if that is OK. I sure as hell hope it ain't OK with anyone other than fans....if anyone actually involved in the program beyond being a fan is OK with it we are in trouble....I want to think there ain't any people like that but the results on the field certainly seem to indicate that it is OK....

I don't think anybody is okay with it. I do believe people understand that we had something like 6 defensive players out or hobbled against Florida, though. There are times when you understand a loss, but that doesn't mean you like it or are even okay with it.
And it's silly to say that a team has given up. MState loaded the box to stop the run. That was obvious. We were able to take advantage of that by unleashing our passing game. We have just completed the hardest part of our schedule. If we struggle the rest of the way then there would be cause for concern.
I am not going to say JT Daniels is the final answer based off one game, and I am not going to say our team has quit based off one game. The way our WRs went after the football should have been plenty of reason for optimism. We had two or three dropped passes that should been caught, but we also had 3-4 passes in which ourreceivers caught that thy could have dropped the ball and nobody should have said a word.

Pass pro was good.
Defense kept everything in front except for 1 bust on a blitz in man coverage (it was a mesh concept against man coverage with a nickel defender against their fastest receiver... good read and identification by their QB and great placement)
But we are not the same run defense w/o Davis. We cracked in the redzone giving up 2 rushing scores.
