I don't believe he didn't know it was there. I do believe he didn't smoke any. I do think he should play if he passed his drug test because no one can prove he actually did anything wrong, no matter what they think happened.

If Natrez had been arrested twice for stealing and then got arrested again for 3rd time during a 90 mph ride home with stolen goods in car, but he claimed he didn’t know they were there, and they couldn’t prove he did or didn’t...would that change your stance on this at all?

I doubt he was planning on taking a Sunday drug test. I know Peter said that but I seriously doubt they test everyone weekly.
In the stealing example, if the driver of the car claimed all the stolen goods, I wouldn't have grounds to punish the other kid.
ETA: assuming stealing and weed were the same, which is an absurd assumption. He'd be kicked off after the first stealing incident if it were me.

Kirby should suspend him for this game but should not kick him off the team. Patrick should be made to sit in Athens and watch on TV. If they go on to the big game, allow him to participate and come in certain situations.

The good thing about this whole shitshow is that in freshmen orientations going forward, Kirby can put that weed pic on the projector and tell the kids this little speck of weed at the wrong place at the wrong time will ruin your life, because like it or not, there are hundreds of thousands of JD's in law enforcement, justice, and lawmaking that will make sure these young men pay the ultimate price for mistakes they make.

The Prequels and that rehashed The Force Awakens is pure shite. Rogue One was good. With that said, I'll still go watch The Last Jedi....sure I will be throughly disappointed.

I’m not a pot smoker, nor do I care to hang with weed-obsessed tool bags. But I’ve been a proponent for decriminalization more than half my life. Not as a singular issue to define myself with a bumper sticker like a chowder gimp, but based on common sense freedom philosophy.
That being said, weed is illegal. The NCAA frowns on it. So if weed is more important to a dipshit than football, stay the frick away. Or at least put it on the shelf after the first offense until you graduate.
