Speaking of which, where's Walter Grant been this year? Is he injured, or has he just been surpassed?

I think it is a "best not to ask" about Grant situation.

I've seen it asked on multiple sites.

My response is the generic response given. I have no insider knowledge. Just passing along what I've seen in the internet.

Grant has always intrigued me, you look at the kid and he looks like a beast. He's really long/rangy and looks physically ready but for whatever reason we don't get to see him much.

Kirby addressed it recently, basically he said Grant has to prove to them he can contribute, which infers he has not.

These dudes love the new flavor of the week. Cook was going for 8 ypc. He's had a slow start but all these backs have a role to play in this topsy turvy season.

How mind blowing would it be if we beat Alabama because of great plays made by Matt Landers?

This is about the only think I'd like more than Matt Landers not seeing the field.

I really hope Matt Landers turns it around at some point.

Not a lot of players I can remember screw up every way possible when given a chance. Dropped ball, holding penalty, false start, personal foul.

Brooks Austin from SI just said we will be down an important starter on D. Anyone know who?

Not saying he’s wrong but he also said before the Auburn game that Jermaine Burton would likely be out or limited with a shoulder injury and then Jermaine played like every snap.

Monty has been seen in a boot as reported by uninformed internet users. Probably true but no site to my knowledge has put their reputation to confirm it yet (I dont read every site... but so far it is just message board posters)

Love Monty, but the way Channing Tindall played at the end against UT, I would love to see what he can do.
