Yeah, so do I. Take a long look...
2900 yds passing, 24 TDs and 5 ints with %70 comp
462 yds rushing yards with 10 rushing TDs
As a first year starter in the SEC?...I'll take those stats any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I don't know about you, but I gladly welcome him back as our starter next season.

While teams want that so they don't completely suck, that isn't the formula to win a Super Bowl or make a deep playoff run. You need a lot more than that at QB.
The point is that even the premier football league on the planet can't find 32 guys who have a lot more than solid game management skills. They are few and far between.

One thing I noticed last night is that a lot of Gunner's deep passes were off the mark. Bobo likes to go with the deep pass too. It seems like the only passing success we had last night was a)screens b)Gunner rolling out and c)when Ole Miss went into a soft zone and we found guys in the middle. Gunner had a bad game for sure. When our D isn't at an elite level we seem to struggle on offense.

Poor OL play, being over conservative with the lead, questionable play calling and Chambliss playing out of his mind are what happened to us last night.
That combined with the D consistently getting outplayed and out coached in crucial situations multiple times.

Per tigertalk247 Monken is a strong candidate for the Clemson OC spot

I’m not sure he wasn’t rattled by that hit. I mean physically rattled.
Also, he couldn’t get comfortable in the pocket with pressure and balls batted down. Constantly having to roll out isn’t conducive for long, accurate balls.

It's not a problem for Trinidad Chambliss.

Clemson’s not reaching out to Bobo?

It wasn’t last night…that’s for sure.

My local high school wouldn’t reach out to him

We have been recruiting wide receivers out of the portal like crazy in the last few years and paying good money for them.

Not one serious college would reach out to him.
Yet we somehow have convinced ourselves that is a good thing

Not sure the whole “SEC” thing carries the same weight that it use to

Pretty sure Chambliss was a first year SEC starter also. He wasn’t even playing FBS last year. Night and day difference.

IIRC didn’t Chamblis win some lower division championships before Lane snagged him?
ETA: he was a 2 time Division 2 National Champion before going to Ol Miss.
