Coley turns water into the old black and white "BEER" generic store brand.

I thought Chaney was awesome and wish we could have retained him by hook or crook. But I imagine these alpha coaches in the pressure cooker day after day get sick of each other and that Kirby was just as ready to see him go as he was to go.

Chaney was awesome at game planning and prepping and first halves of games. Absolutely piss poor at adjustments in game

3rd AND TEN?
RUN IT AGAIN!
Bobo the clown

My concern about Bobo is that he is an I formation guy and the game has moved beyond that. Honestly, I didn't watch any of his games out there so I have no idea what they were running.

I remember undersized linemen, and really good skill position guys. We were loaded at Rb and WR. Aaron Murray wasn’t too bad either.
I think Bobo would do a lot with our offense. But he would have to keep recruiting monster o line to stay competitive.

Richt was an I formation guy. Colorado State rarely ran out of the I and played almost exclusively out of the shotgun.

Bobo seemed kind of mediocre before we had Murray and Gurley together. I recall 2009-2011 people wanting to fire Bobo. Then 2012 and 2013 and we started putting up big offensive #'s. Kirby seems way too stubborn and also loyal to Coley to fire him after one season anyway. Still if we get blown out in the SECCG and we struggle on offense next year; I'm sure Kirby and the AD are going to get a lot of heat from the big money guys to make a change. It may just take a poor offensive showing in the SECCG for that to happen.

I always thought that Richt didn't let Bobo install his own offense until 2011. The difference between 2009/2010 to 2011 was blatantly obvious with more spread formations.

It's amazing that all the Chaney haters now wish he was still here. I also remember how many here wanted Bobo out as OC. Now, those same folks think he will be our savior.
But Richt did not get the support he needed to be successful; when we made the decision to refuse Bobo a fair raise; that was a clear signal
it looks like that support is there now; I never wanted Bobo to go & would be thrilled to get him back
