It's three days later and Bama fans are still crying because they lost and we won.

LOL!

I attended UGA for three months out of high school before joining the army. I was a member of the redneck band. The band had just been ordered to not play Dixie any more because when they played it glass Rebel Yell bottles would start flying out of the upper deck into the UGA sections.

The state legislature actually made it illegal to play Dixie in Sanford.... Ole Miss was quietly taken off the schedule for a while then asked to not play Dixie when they came....

What year was that? As I said in my post UGA games and the campus seemed a lot wilder back in those days. My Uncle was an Ole Miss fan and he told me stories about getting in fights at UGA games in the 60's.

Could be folklore, would have been early 70s after my dad graduated.... One account says it was the band leader alone, others point to BOT or Politicians influencing the decision . They swapped it with Glory...

I never thought to double check it as it was widely presented that way as a student in the early 90s.

Yeah, I don’t know who made the decision. I just knew they couldn’t play it.

Lol. I met and married my wife in 1989. She had dated both UGA and FSU grads and went to games both places.

After her first GT game we were leaving m old fraternity house. And she said, “I didn’t see anyone throw up and pass out.”

I don't think that's the flex you think it is.

My sophomore year at UGA was 1968. One home game I witnessed a liquor bottle thrown from way above me into the crowd below. It hit a young woman in the head. Her beautiful blond hair was red with blood. Drunks can't understand consequences.

She seemed to think it was, and I value her opinion way more than yours.

Because she controls half the money and all the cooter.

At least she got some experience before marrying you and going celibate.

My mother died in 1996.

Have you DNAed those kids? Do they look just like your neighbor?

My wife would never cheat on me.

In fact, she was so excited I skipped work today and stayed home that she ran out and told the mailman about it.

Woman loves me.
