and overall grumbling since the Mark Richt days. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places but man, the apocalypse is right around the corner according to some!

Someone refresh my memory....did we hear this much whining the last time we went to the UK and only won 16-6 with the only TD coming on a Kenny McIntosh rushing TD? Oh and uh, we won the national championship that year.

Boy ol Bobo is catching it, but I recall Saint Monken, who everyone sure seems to wish we had back, got roasted after that game.

We still have a great team. I don’t have much confidence in our blocking right now, though. Hopefully that gets cleaned up with the bye week.

Monken wasn’t here last season. That was still Bobo after Auburn last year.

Monken DID take some heat after 16-6 in Lexington in 22 though.

Lol forgot Griffindawg was the original "I'll eat a dog turd if x happens"

Also forgot how bad the weather was in that game. Think that removes some of the strength of comparing that game to last Saturday.

The real doom and gloom thread is the 2021 SECCG thread. It's dark.

I told everybody last week this game would be a shite fest and got mocked. Kentucky ain’t as bad as they looked getting blown out by SCjr.
Plus they had a linebacker and quarterback who were on our team in January. Maybe they were or maybe they weren’t involved in helping game plan for that one.

I feel about the same as after the Mizzou game a few years ago.. I think people are stressing about the Bama game in a few weeks. Bama went to a hostile environment and handled their business, and UGA looked lost and scared!

Kirby is feasting on this team for the next week and a half, let’s see how it turns out!?

Well, Bama was only up 13-12 on South Florida for 3 quarters. They only pulled away in the 4th. So, they have issues of their own, whether anyone will admit it.

Last doom and gloom was 2019.

It feels very similar but with a more talented team overall.

Going into the Bama game with blocking issues, injuries and internal stuff mentioned is NOT good

That doesn’t mean we can’t win the game, but I see it as a 7pt loss, I hope I am wrong

I saw a kid's reel on IG yesterday where he defended Bobo by pointing out all of the times Monken's offenses failed to impress in lackluster games like 2022 UK by doing the exact same thing we saw Saturday night in Lex: bubble screens & runs up the middle.

I agree with you, but.. but.. Wisconsin. Unfortunately I think our fanbase has gotten spoiled and expect to demolish every team. Ask Spurrier one of the main reasons he left UF. He will tell you straight up, you could not please the fans! They would beat someone 63-10, and the fans would complain on how they gave up 10 points. We are not to that level yet, but on our way!

Did this team play to Kirby’s standards this past week, NO! I think that’s why he was much more animated on the sidelines. Hopefully they get it figured out, his record with 10+ days to prepare for someone is pretty darn good!

I implore real GA fans to accept that we are in our best run ever as a program, we have the best coach and staff we have ever had, we have been to the mtn top in back to back seasons ans likely win it all last year if we had gotten in.

Just enjoy the run, Kirby doesn't care what you think, Thank God.

Just be apart of UGA and support them. Every dynasty has had hiccups and we never know when a game will break out.

These are the days.....

I think most people do acknolwedge that from a bigger picture perspective. I think it's natrual that when living day to day, and watching game to game, it's easy to focus more on our current problems though in real time.

This is why some people like myself start to panic when we see the slightest problems. We don’t want it to end and we fear we are seeing the first threads start to unravel. Yes I realize it’s irrational.
