Hardly anyone hates on Bennett anymore. He is our guy and we can win it all with him. I still think JTD is the better QB, but I am 100% behind Bennett.
This is the reasonable perspective to take. There must be something going on that makes Kirby start Bennett. Accept it. Support Bennett and move on.

So, you think Smart doesn't know what he is doing? Because if that is your thoughts, then that is what you are saying. Kirby doesn't know what he is doing and you know better.
I guess I will never understand why we pay coaches $6-9 million a year when we have better coaches right here on the board. All Georgia has to do is ask the Rant and we would put the correct players on the field, and hire the correct coaches. (Obviously we would hire the coaches who do what we want them to do.)
Again, no one said that. What we said, is JT is much more talented. Kirby chose JT as the starter for a reason. He then kept Scoutie in after JT’s injury healed, for a reason…and that reason is not because he thinks Scoutie is more talented. Honestly, if Kirby’s assessment, is that Scoutie is more talented….then yes, I would want Kirby fired

Whomever Peter Buck is, he thinks he’s a better football coach than Kirby.
On the contrary. He is supporting Kirby's decision. The ones second guessing Kirby are the ones that think they are better.
Either you don't understand what is going on or you have no idea who is saying what.
I Peter Buck is saying Kirby's choice is right how is he thinking he is smarter than Kirby?
If others are saying Kirby is wrong for playing Bennett how are they supporting Kirby's decision?
I'm genuinely curious about the reasoning on your post.

Kirby said that Stetson Bennett is the best QB for Georgia RIGHT NOW. You are saying he is not. How can you NOT be saying Kirby doesn't know what he is doing?

And then Stetson Bennett passed hm. It happens all the time. I can't think of a single team that doesn't have a starter lose his job to another player at some point in the year.

So tell us. Why do YOU think he kept Bennett in there?
quote:Talent is a only a portion of being a football player. Georgia has had players that are seemingly not ver talented go to the NFL. Dan Jackson....do you think we have players on the roster more talented that plays his position? Think very carefully before answering this and I would suggest you look at the depth chart?

Is he really, though? I mean what evidence do we have currently to definitively state this at this point in time? I mean last year Daniels had Pickens to throw to, and he admitted himself that on many occasions he just threw it up and let him go get it. Imagine if Stet had Pickens all year long what kind of stats he may have put up. It definitely makes a difference. Why not just admit that just may be Stet could be just as talented just with a different set of skills. Give the man his due. He's earned it.

The only legitimate thing that people can consensually agree on is that JT throws a prettier ball. That's it. When JT throws a dime, it looks like an NFL QB. When Stetson throws a dime and scores the same TD, it doesn't always look as pretty, but it gets there. I think it is because we, as a fanbase, didn't like how Stetson looked last year, and when JT finally came in for the final four or 5 games, he lit it up. So we came into this season fired up and ready for JT make his Heisman run and lead us to the promised land. Then JT got hurt, Stetson came in, we all sighed, we crossed our fingers, we all said a collective "damn, at least we have a few cupcakes to work with here".
But then something magical happened.
Stetson Bennett looked like a completely different player from last year.
That's why Stet is the starter and JT is not.
It has jack shite to do with NFL potential.

Yeah, I don't really see either one of them getting drafted right now. So that's a moot point.

Lambert? What a joke.
Lambertdawg signed up here with that name three years before Greyson Lambert came to UGA. In fact, Lambertdawg is connected with a very wealthy and powerful blue blood Cobb County family and you should check your tone.

So much hilarious hedging in this thread
-but, all we said all along was JT was more talented
-nobody trashed Stet
-whichever qb can win, I’m in
-whatever happens tomorrow means nothing though
-nfl draft!
So fricking hilarious

Didn’t you say you were a walk on? I had a lot of respect for walk ons, but not all guys on the team did. I find it interesting that a walk on would mock a dude who played on the scout team. In fact, it makes me think you are full of shite. I played on the scout team. So did a lot of players who became stars at UGA and some went on to play in the pros. Id say 70% of my class played on the scout team and JV my Freshman year and some as Sophomores.
If you are on the side who mocks dudes who put time in on the scout team, I am glad we are on different sides of the Bennett crisis.

Odd night for a Georgia fan to decide to use the Georgia board to troll Georgia fans.

There are no Bennett haters BTW, just those that thought the more talented QB should have been playing the last 5 weeks
Why do you suppose JT hasn't played regularly the last 5 weeks? Could it be that JT hasn't fully healed from his several injuries? Could it be the team chemistry is better with Bennett than with Daniels?
Is it because you know better than the HC and OC?
