Why hasn't REM, B-52s, or hell even WSP ever gotten the offer to play?

If WSP played in Sanford Stadium, you'd be able to see the mushroom cloud above all the way from Macon.

The school didn't approach them, it was all Jason Aldean's idea. He approached the school first and they were open to the idea. Then he talked to Luke Bryan and he was all for it, too.

They are both Nash Trash pussies. I will be getting sauced during pre concert festivities and then head down town to wait for the inevitable black out sorostitutes to come wondering in to Silver Dollar.

After 100,000 hippies invaded Athens in 1998, I don't ever see the city letting Panic play that large of a venue there ever again.
Having said that, I can imagine there will be a large mess to clean up after this weekend.

The good news is that the field's scheduled to be resurfaced in the coming weeks. This is why the concert can go down at Sanford.
