Preparing to be disappointed.

Even the WSJ was talking shite about us today.

Kirby needs to keep his foot on the gas during the second half. You'd think he would have learned this lesson already. But Go Dawgs!

He tried that before bama 2020 and 2021. Remember all of those interceptions?

We beat the #2 team in the country like a piñata. I think we have our swagger back and will learn from our beat down in the SECG.

Yes but every time he goes conservative in the 2nd half Bama catches up and wins the game. He can always keep the foot on the gas by running the ball and eating the clock.

My point is that he did not go conservative in these recent second halves. We lose no matter what because our qb can never make the plays needed.

It seems like you are saying he always goes conservative but he can always keep the foot on the gas by being conservative.

He needs to just keep doing what seems to be working in the first half. Make them actually stop us before changing the game plan. In the last few games (conservative or aggressive) we’ve come out in the second half and played a completely different half from the first.

Nervous but not as nervous as before. Unlike before if we don't win I would be more embarrassed than disappointed.

Not last month, but our qb threw a costly pick.

I think we have to hold Bama in the 25-30 point range to win. We're in trouble if this turns into a shootout or we get down by double digits.

Bama is way better than Michigan.

Not what I was commenting on. Last month in the second half we were down 2-3 touchdowns so clearly had to change our strategy to a more aggressive one abandoning the run. What I was talking about was in the past when we were leading going into halftime, we went away from what was working in the second half and then couldn’t get it back.

Thank you. This what I was trying to say.

Because of Bowers stopping the route after the ball was in the air

I go from pretty sure we win, to pretty sure we lose. I’m pretty sure we can’t play any worse than we did, and I don’t think Young can possibly have as good a game as he did. What does that mean, I don’t know?

A dangerous and unnecessary pass like that is the qbs responsibility, but that one didn’t end the game like the 2nd one did. The point remains the same though. Kirby learned a lesson from those early bama losses and we still lost.

Strategy didn’t change until after the pick 6. Using the same strategy, he threw 2 picks, just like he did in 2020. That can’t happen again.

I fricking love posts like this. Never seen this person on here before, drops an emphatic we win from the clouds.

I tell myself this person is from the future and has already seen the result and it makes me feel happy.

Thank you time traveler

Very confident. I do believe Alabama threw everything it had at us in Round 1. Round 2, we’ll be ready. Monken also seems to be very confident…
