I agree with this. Deebo will probably make some plays, he’s the best WR that Baker will face this season. I don’t see him putting up a monster stat line, though, because Baker will win his share, too. If I were Muschamp and McClendon, I’d make sure I lined Samuel up on the right side as often as possible to get him matched up against Tyson Campbell.

I'm not taking anything from baker, he is a stud. Just thinking his hips won't keep up with deebo

Maybe. Slayton at Auburn is comparable talent and if we count likely postseason matchup, Bama has three guys that are as good/better than Deebo.

Deebo is a really good player, but he isn't going to dominate the game and take over. SC will need significant contributions from many others to keep it in striking distance.

As I said we need to work in multiple wr screens to stretch the d to open the run and then strike with deebo

Sure move him to the other side with a more talented CB. But he has only played 1 game. Would still like to see him match up with Cambell.

I'll take deebo against most dbs in the SEC, however Bryan Edwards is also a stud...those 2 on the field with the other wideouts could be dangerous for your untested backfield

K Ridley is a stud but he is far from deebo, and many of your fanbase will agree

Ridley just went first round and Baker is likely to go top 15 next year. Deebo is good but from an unbiased standpoint, he's not as good as Ridley.

Slayton is fast but he’s not the playmaker that Samuel is. Samuel is the type of player who can catch a 5 yard curl and then juke out all 11 players on defense on his way to the end zone. Dude is scary good when he’s healthy.

Nor would I. Deebo is good to great, however, he's not a world beater. He will get a few yards but he will not have the game needed to give SC the game. His best game was 125 yards and 1 touchdown and that was against Missouri in 2016. It's not 2016 and he is not playing Missouri. His performance will not make enough difference to save USC. He'll get his, but not what he is used too. BTW Deebo's best year just matches Calvin's worst in terms of production.
