Honest view by a realistic SC fan

My honest opinion on the game is, we have to hit on early screens to relieve pressure on Jake if not we are fricked. If we do we stay close till early 4th when UGA depth takes over and they pull away and win by 9-14, only caveat to that is if we can win field position through special teams and turnovers which is unlikely.
Starting 22 matchup well in terms of a great game, where UGA will kill us is rotating fresh talent.
We have to get up by multiple scores before a fresh cook enters the game if not we are in for a long second half
Prediction 34-24 UGA

You're almost spot on. Biggest difference maker in the starting 22 will be our OL vs your DL. Significant advantage for us in that matchup.

I agree but may be negated by our Wrs v your dbs if we can hit the screens and draws. It's a long shot but it's legit our only shot.

That's going to be the most fun matchup to watch. Deebo against Baker should be great.

I'm more interested in shi Smith and randrecous Davis v your nickle and dimes personally

Could be an area you can exploit. We have talent there but zero experience.

We are going to have to in order to open up the run to stay balanced, If we can't be balanced it's not going to be pretty

Bentley looked more composed than last year, although CC wasn't much of a test. I hope Georgia's D has a plan to get some pressure on the QB. That's one area of Kirby/Mel's scheme that has been lacking at times. Discipline is great, but sometimes you need to repeatedly harass the QB.

I think balance is the key for SC.
If you can get either a run game or screen game going (basically an extension of the run as it slows down a pass rush), then you have a chance to pass against us.
I really do think our pass D will impress this season. But being unable to create obvious passing downs would allow SC to move the chains and keep our offense off the field.

That's whatvim hoping for. If we can keep the uga offense from the field and eating click and force quick scores I like our chances. Key is keeping our defense rested, we are very deep in offense

The UGA offense has a chance to be real scary this season.
We have an opportunity to methodically move the ball with Fromm (3rd down conversions) and our running game.
But we can go extremely uptempo and we have home run threats at a level that we haven't seen in Athens to this depth (3 five star receivers... 2 of which are trackletes). Home run threats in Swift and Cook at the tailback spot (which is comparable to last season with Chubb/Sony/Swift).
The more chances that South Carolina gives us, the more likely we are to get 35+ offensive points. Even with questions on defense, we hope to outpace opponents (even in road environments).

I do think many UGA fans are overlooking our offense, however I cannot discount how talented yours is as well. Like i said it will come down to us managing clock, something Boom is good at, and keeping our starting 11/16 depending on the defense fresh. If we can't be will be in for a long hot day, but if we do this game will be very close.
What im looking at is how the newcomers play in an extremely hostile environment. Fromm didnt do well in Auburn last year. But did very well in neutral sites against UF(almost a UF home game), SEC title, and the playoffs

No shot at anyone but I hate when you know the OL/DL unit should dominate but struggles in a given matchup.
Still have all the trust in the world Pitt will have his unit ready to dominate in the near future.
Can't wait for this game. If you read body language, Kirby has his team ready to play or atleast that's the vibe I get.

Baker is good but deebo should handle him and we will move Deebo around so much that baker will be negated; shi, Edwards, ortre, Vann, Crosby, and randrecous (former uga commit) will open spots for deebo.

Agree to disagree. Cheers.

That doesn't negate Baker. He still shuts down his side. It just gives Deebo lesser people to match up against. For what it's worth, I have confidence in our safeties. We have a true freshman corner and a true sophomore star/nickel that will have large questions asked of them this weekend.

We will see just how good your dad are there Mel....

Baker will be a first round pick and could go top 10.....
“Handle” my arse. I’m not saying Baker will completely shut him down, but Baker will limit Deebo when they are up against each other and we run a shite ton of man-to-man. It’s going to be the best and most fun matchup of any game this weekend
