My who knows what happens after that was more about the hypothetical playoff system. If those three richt teams make the playoffs and one or more win a championship, richt is probably still the coach and Kirby is at South Carolina or LSU.
Just an interesting butterfly effect scenario

Yep everything timed out just right. Would’ve loved to have those 07 and 2012 nattys. But that would’ve been 11 years ago and I doubt we would have 21 and 22 going for 3 in a row. Richt would definitely be gone now due to his Parkinson’s and Kirby may have built something at another sec program and not want to come here. We could really be in the dumps right now if things hadn’t worked out the way they did.

Yet we are furthest from the dumps than we have ever been ever, yet you see so many vile UGA fans not only complaining, but being total cünts about it. God forbid when we inevitably get our first loss in forever.

It would funny if it wasn’t so sad. We’re 3-0 in the midst of the longest winning streak in UGA history and raise hell if we don’t beat everyone 50 -0 and don’t have the 3rd team in at halftime.
When we finally lose a game - which will happen - all hells going to break lose.

I would have taken those two Natty's, but I can promise you that it would suck losing to South Carolina every year after Kirby took that job.

According to the Braintrust, we are like 1-3 because if we played a team with a pulse, we would have lost.

Well, thank God we will be 12-0 before that happens.

I didn't agree w/firing CMR but I understood why we did it.
It couldn't have worked out better.

You and Mike Bell, which should have told you that he wasn't gonna work out.

I was too. I was enamored with that Houston offense.

I always pictured him as a long haired, smelly hippie that has an adorable little girl. Actually she must be getting close to becoming a young lady at this point.

I remember wanting Lincoln Riley at OC before he went to OU back during the big OC search. The Richt turnover was a pretty much a foregone conclusion and Kirby was the natural fit to take over. It was a great decision in hindsight but I can see how especially after the first year people probably thought it was a terrible move. He was playing with Richts recruits and trying to instill a winning culture and that first year had some bumps in the road. That said, Kirby Smart will go down as a legend in Georgia sports for good reason. He's a fantastic coach and he loves the Dawgs. Its good to be king.
