If he was making $2.5mm a year with the Rams, and went to UGA for less then $1.3mm to $1.5mm, he is an idiot.

I posted this idea on another thread, but what if he realized the Rams entire coaching staff is on the hot seat going into 2015 and the QB combo of Hill/Davis/Bradford will get them fired?

Or maybe the Gators are supplementing him with Agent pay.

Chip Towers been reading this thread:

Trying to find a verifiable data base of NFL assistant coach compensation is nearly impossible. But based on published reports, Schottenheimer was set to earn “nearly $2 million” a year back in 2009 when he was offensive coordinator for the New York Jets. It would follow that he was probably making more than that with the St. Louis Rams.

UGA will sure offer him its standard three-year contract it uses for coordinators. My guess is that would be in the range of $1.5 million a year. I would almost guarantee it would be for no less than Pruitt’s $1.3 million.

Does the person that gets the closest to the actual retail price without going over win a prize?

If so I'm going to say 3 years 1,225,000.25.
