Deeprigs under deck is still a blank slate..

We need to design something quick before he goes back to Lowe’s tomorrow.

Regarding plans for my lower deck, I have none.

It is a mud hole, now it will be a deck.

Fish cleaning station and shuffle board are both unrealistic, but they are stupid.

Lower, an unfinished basement room that would be an ideal finished fancave or entertainment type of area.

Upper, the door comes from the breakfast nook area that is part of the open kitchen/living room/nook area. The window is from the living room.

Also, the downspouts on either side of the deck are going to have decorative rain barrels framed in some shade loving shrub like rhododendron. My wife also just bought some flowering vine things she intends to wind around the pergola posts from a container. Long term plans also include doing one of those rain-catching ceilings on the lower level.

Is this a conscious effort to use gender-neutral vocabulary or just a autocorrect typo?

I was told by the OT Lounge recently that “mancave” is a cuck term because it implies the rest of the house doesn’t belong to me and all I get is the shitty basement room, if I’m lucky, which makes me a cuck.

So I said fancave.

Everything was south side Fayette Spalding and Henry county

Heron bay
Flat creek
Sun city peachtree
Eagles Brooke

Eaglesbrooke was wild. The owners seemed to have some personal problems and some things they did were pretty sketch. They also had the Mexicans living in a camper on site and one got drunk and drove a mower off a bridge on the course in the middle of the night and was killed. Then there were rumors going around the GBI was investigating it as a homicide but nothing ever came of it. Just a bizarre situation all around. I got “laid off” from there after only 8 months allegedly bc of their financial problems but they’re still buying golf courses. I think they got mad bc I was going hunting before work and showing up at 9. Went to work for my in laws concrete business and never thought of going back to turf since. It’s miserable hours and the pay sucks.

Under the deck is a great place for an outdoor work table. About waist high made out of pressure treated or reclaimed wood.

If you’re having to rebuild a carburetor or work on restringing the weed eater it’s a life saver. You don’t want to do that shite indoors or while sitting in a deck chair. You can also use it for planting and other girley man stuff too.

I absolutely hate this term and can’t believe that is becoming mainstream.

Did this today, tilled manually, I have blisters and band-aids on my hands. Yes, I used gloves. I also got my first sunburn of the year.

Flowers and vegetables are going here. Right now it is covered with a tarp.

Before you criticize the shrubs, be advised they about to be gone.

Nap time. He helped alot before and after too, he was playing with the worms. He pinched one in half and declared "Now there's two worms!" and we were so proud of him.

I don’t use it myself. But it’s exactly laser beam precise and dead center bullseye accurate as far as these troubled times go.
