Smart is loyal and rewards players for their play in practice. It's a long-term strategy that gets the most out of players in practice which gets the most out of them in games. It's a good recruiting tactic, as well.
And you know what? We've got a potential cheat code coming in next season anyway, so while I don't want to lose Beck or BVG, one of them will likely be transferring in the next few seasons, anyway.

Darnell, Tykee, and Dom didn’t make the trip per Dasher. This game isn’t an opportunity to get worked back in. It’s literally just an opportunity to get injured. Vandy has completely given up on being competitive in football and playing them is absolutely ridiculous. We win 200-0, who cares? They suck. They don’t seriously try.

And I dont' love stetson but the cries for him not to play are pretty misguided. It was 35-0 in the first quarter, every QB is gonna play. Our backup QB played the entire 2nd quarter, there is nothing fundamentally wrong with that. If I had to GUESS I'd say benentt MIGHT play 1 series in the 3rd then sit for the day and let beck take over. I don't really care if Brock doesn't get a lot of reps, his future isn't going to be altered based on him getting reps aginst vandy's backups in a 6 touchdown blowout. I'd like to see him play most of the 4th, but I won't complain if he doens't.

I’m not miserable at all. I love Saturdays. Lot of awesome kids activities, college football, cold beers and great weather. You can frick off though with your Bennett circle jerk groupies. Imagine being so miserable, you have to be upset that others don’t want Bennett playing
