This doesn't change what I said at all. He needs to play better if he wants to continue playing.

He was like a top 150 recruit.

It’s not like he was some two star.

Nope, but key word here is "uncharacteristically". Pickens has had a few issues this season that has shown his immaturity. I expect him to act like this now. I don't expect Fromm or anyone else on our team to act like that.

What ever happened to Tommy Bush. Big bodied possession receiver who I don’t think has seen the field in two yeara

Groin injury. And he isn't a possession receiver. He runs a sub 4.5 forty.

Talentwise, no, but he'll be kicked off the team if he can't get his head on straight.

Man what a terrible example. Pickens has been on the verge of what happened today in multiple games throughout the year, not to mention some other issues off the field he needs to get straightened out. I stand by what I said before the fight, he's on the path to not finishing his career in Athens

All of our players deserve the benefit of the doubt and a few chances - not just the one you like. He's played pretty well for a freshman, and he'll continue to mature and get better.

Let's try to be consistent here.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I'm happy to excuse any performance-related issues a true freshman would have due to lack of experience. I wouldn't be upset at him for running a bad route, not having good fundamentals, or even struggling catching the ball if he were having any of those issues because I expect true freshmen to be raw and needing some coaching and experience.

I'm talking about behavior issues.

He has played pretty well for a freshman and I haven't said otherwise. I hope he continues to mature and get better, but I don't excuse behavior issues as quickly and easily as I can excuse some performance issues. We have a lot of young kids and none of them have stood out like Pickens has in terms of immaturity on the field this season.

If I haven't called out any immature behavior by our other players, please let me know.

Well, we saw a lopsided outcome full of mop up play. Seems like we should be happy. However, we cannot get off to a shaky start like that against LSU. We've GOT to jump out to a quick lead and not play from behind.

Can our D stop LSU enough and do we play clock keeping LSU's O off the field?

Very good game by the Dawgs.

Fromm improved - not perfect but he took shots, went through progressions, trusted his receivers, stayed poised, and had some very good throws.

Receivers stepped up big.

Playcalling was varied and aggressive.

D was excellent as always. Best this school has ever seen.

Did have some unfortunate mental lapses and a key injury I'm worried about.

Let's continue to improve and get ready for a fight next week.

We will have to be aggressive against LSU on offense.

The 45 point loss is Tech's worst all-time to Georgia.
