no point in arguing if that's your take.
God bless.

If it’s a bad take not supported by facts, then there is no point is NOT arguing.

That remains to be seen. The QB situation is fluid.
Agree. But IMO, we will have to use Fields for the extra threat he brings if we want to win against the tougher opponents on our schedule. Sure, they will 'spy' Fields, but again...that extra threat. Putting a spy on him will commit one defender that could be utilized elsewhere.

If he is, we aren't winning anything of any importance unless he starts playing far better. He's the man of dink and dunk, game management football. I thought he would take a step forward this year, and the exact opposite has happened. Spare me the BS stats.
I’m guessing this is a serious post? Fromm’s QB rating is higher than last year and he’s on pace to be UGA’s all-time pass % leader. Plus we’re 5-0 and averaging over 40 ppg. I just don’t quite understand some of you.

Against P5 competition, Fromm is averaging 10.1 yards per attempt, which is 7th best in the nation and 2nd in the SEC. His passer rating against P5 is 169.64, good for 13th best in the nation and 2nd in the SEC. It's only 3 games so the stats definitely aren't conclusive, but it suggests that maybe our offense would be more effective if we let Fromm throw more often.

Holloman could have made a better play on the ball,
It looked like Holloman slowed just a touch about halfway into his route. Not sure if he was reading the defense and deciding to pull up or go long, or if he was just trying to the throw the defense off. Either way, he might have been on target with the ball had he not slowed down.
The Ridley pass was just flat out overthrown.
Godwin? Godwin could have caught the ball, but it was an extremely difficult ball to catch, and it seemed as if he heard footsteps a bit.

Except that Baker outplayed him
You sure about that? It was awfully clsoe statistically and Baker threw an interception that cost Oklahoma dearly.
And, even if you buy into Baker outplayed Fromm...well, he was the Heisman Trophy winner.

I am not sure of that. Baker destroyed us 1st half and then we shut him down in the 2nd half.

The stats turned out to be pretty close, considering. the big glaring difference to me was the INT. Bake threw. I think Reed, or somebody returned it all the way down to the 10 or so.
Fromm 20/29 210 yards 2TD 0 INT
Baker 23/35 287 Yards 2TD 1 INT
Pretty close all things considered. (Heisman Winner, Sr vs. Fr., etc)
I was surprised at the stats when I first looked at them awhile back.

Yeah, stats were close. Mayfield was awesome on 3rd downs, though. I think Fromm was about 50% throwing on 3rds.
That said, I don't like the idea of comparing QBs head-to-head and declaring one as "outplaying" the other. Both QBs have different receivers, different linemen, different RBs, different play-calling and usually different schemes, and they play against difference defenses. There is no applies-to-apples comparison and we all know statistics can say anything.
