Be warned of Clemson's notorious use of strobing every single video board and ribbon board in that motherfricker. Every third down they did this. You could tell on TV and it was blinding at the game. I don't see how it didn't frick with the players more, since sometimes it kept going after the ball was snapped.
They show a pair of tiger eyes and the board changes from white, to orange, to purple very quickly. Of course it's not complete without Iron Man or Hell's Bells playing over the PA system.

Are you making fun of Clemson for using pre-game, and in-game hype to liven the atmosphere?
Just checking. And Sandstorm is gay as shite.

Most teams turn off the "strobes and ribbons" when play is about to resume and after the huddle breaks, and the same with stopping their bands from playing/music.
CNB is referring to our game last year against clemson when they did not turn off the lights or music when we had the ball on 3rd down (they didn't do it when they had the ball on 3rd down.) They attempted to give themselves a competitive edge with those factors, but it didn't matter, we still beat them with a backup QB and backup RB's.
If you are referencing our use of it, go back and look at the video of the 35-7 game last year. When you guys had the ball, it was crowd-loud, but we stopped the music and video board. In fact, we had a big purple square on there for a whole quarter. I think I've seen most teams follow that type of conduct and not blare music/strobes during home team defensive downs.

What does it feel like to have a team get hyped up by gay music and then destroy your team?

Bulldogs' all-time record vs. Gamecocks: 45-17-2.

I was over on tigernet with the Clemson crowd and I've got to tell you that they seem like the kind that have strobes going off in their stadium and such.

Considering you've been to maybe 4 or 5 games in Athens, all against a team that until the last 2 times has been mediocre at BEST, and rarely at night...we can probably name you tons.
But that's not what this thread is about.
I went to the game there in 03 and they didnt' do this..when did they start?

2008 Alabama. Game didn't go well but Athens and Sanford were rocking all day from the moment Gameday started letting us in. Was the craziest atmosphere I've ever seen

I didn't notice it when I went in 2006 or 2008. I only noticed it this past year. I've heard Kentucky does it as well.
