If you are rooting against Fields why do you hope that he grows up?
quote:No, I’m fine. I don’t get emotionally upset over football. I do, however, get annoyed by children who think the world owes them everything. Those people then affect me with their ethics and voting patterns.
You sound like you're emotionally upset and conflicted. Get over it.

I hope you grow up. What a childish post you made.

Free agency is just the next logical step in the destruction of the game. When coaches became the frontman of a university instead of the university president something is askew. If college athletes are amateurs their coaches should be graduate students, not multi millionaires......but that wouldn’t put 100k people in a building in a cow town 6-7 times each fall and we’d be out fishing and doing yard work on those Saturday’s.
I say take off all the restraints.....there is nothing about the game that resembles what we like to portray it as.......as long as the laundry is familiar we’re all going to watch and spend inordinate amounts of time thinking and talking about the game

It’s bull shite. He transferred because he can’t beat Fromm out and there is no other reason. He should sit.
He certainly transferred because he couldn’t beat out Fromm....there is no doubt about that. If the idiot baseball player comments play into his being eligible without sitting a year that is merely a treatment for the disease that is forcing 17 and 18 year old kids make life altering decisions that Can’t be reversed because a salesman pitched them better than another. Fields may have a career at the next level but he ain’t the QB that Fromm is at UGA in the UGA system.......he should simply be free to keep whatever eligibility he has left and go wherever he can without sitting out a year. These kids aren’t indentured servants.....I was one in the early 80’s.....legally bound to an indentured apprenticeship. If I had changed my mind or my employer had changed their mind we’d have parted ways with no penalty either way.....but the money in college football and the greed involved has skewed everyone’s ability to determine right and wrong. I don’t like it but fields was never going to see significant playing time at UGA as long as Fromm was viable.....he fricked up signing with UGA ......he’s going to pay a price for that if he does have a nfl career.....that’s penalty enough

51 of 64 college transfers have been approved this year, free agency has arrived

Transfer approval is routine but was immediate eligibility granted?
The immediate eligibiliies that haven't been approved are they rejected or are they pending. There must be some pending--I haven't heard about Tathan.
