Blaske and Fairchild are very similar; both are former state wrestling champions. Both are very athletic and VERY strong. I read that both of them put up over 600 lbs on the squat as seniors before they even got to UGA. Just my humble opinion, but I feel pretty good about our depth.

To say there hasn't been an objective decline in OL recruiting rankings is delusional.
Sure, I bet these guys are all diamonds in the rough, but let's get real. Hasn't been at the same level since Searels got here.

I don't know what your argument is.
Stacy Searels has been around for 1 recruiting cycle. The 2023 signing class.
In that class, he has 1 five star and 2 four stars.
He didn't get a chance to recruit those kids as juniors.
Are you complaining about our current depth?
Or about our 2023 and 2024 classes?
You seem to be shifting the goal posts (or ignorant to what Stacy has done at UGA).

2024 OL class that’s committed right now looks pretty strong.

It does and that on top of 24 being a down year for OL nationally. There’s only like 2 5 stars when there are usually 5 or 6.

I'm making the argument that Searels has been a poor recruiter compared to the last few years. If you're implying otherwise, you're out to lunch.

Searels was here for 23 and 24 classes (not signed yet).
His classes are either true Freshman or still in HS.

You’re making an argument that is far too premature to determine then.

This was the problem with the Tray Scott hate.
It was displaced at the predecessors or ignorant to when Scott was hired and what he had done.
It's weird how history repeats itself for those who don't learn from it.

I don't think the stars and stats support what you're claiming my friend. Last year, Freeling ended up a 5 star OLineman. Hughley was top 10, top 5 in at least one service. Two other linemen were 4 star players. This year, he's got 6 OLinemen, 5 are 4 star guys. Calhoun is ranked #4 in at least one service. It looks like the recruiting for OLine is doing just fine. But I'm no expert.

Branson Robinson out for the year. shite that hurts. Was really really pumped to see him in action especially with Milton usually banged up

Edwards dealing with a MCL sprain. Probably won't be playing in week 1.

In 2014, our RB depth went to hell without the benefit of a hand basket for easier transport…enter Nick Chubb.
I’m interested to see what Roderick Robinson and Andrew Paul can do…maybe one of them or both of them can make us forget about our depth issues.
It’s wild to me that we have such first world problems these days.
What would we have done in 80-82 if Herschel goes down? 88 if Lars Tate gets injured? Not that 88 was a great season, but it was pretty much Lars and nothing else.

I wonder if there's any chance they're looking at Mews for some RB reps and touches.
