Hutson was not good, u can throw stats all you want. He was serviceable at best for that one year, and I appreciate his efforts but I would never put him on a list of great UGA quarterbacks. It's water under the bridge at this point I'm focused on 23'.

Incorrect. Hutson threw the pick that cost us the GT game on the final play for the win in 2014

It wasn't Hutsons fault we had to go into overtime. Poor running game in the 2nd half and poor rushing defense all game cost us that game.

Great QBs lead the offense even when the run game doesn't help.

What most fans don't know is that Murray and Stafford both struggled without the support of their running game.

Hutson actually holds up pretty well in comparison with that company.

We don't have to call him great. But he LED the offense. On good days and bad.
In 3 years, Stafford only had 2 good days when the run game was off (2016 Auburn and 2018 Michigan St). I don't remember Murray's game by game history. But he had his share of bad days and they typically mirrored a rough day on the ground.

That’s old news, right? Unless you’re talking about a RB not named Kendall Milton.

WRs had the yips today, it happens. Mews took advantage and looked like the stud we thought he could be. He will get some good PT this season…would’ve without today too

Excited for Paul, who came back strong. Think I said it a few times last preseason he was the one to watch, but got sidelined. Seems he’s doing good the recovery

Isn’t Mews the walk on or something like that? I don’t remember him being a high profile recruit. If he’s a walk on and will get PT… our talent evaluation department is the best in the world.

One of those SECRant threads after all the spring games was "Predict a breakout player for your team based on spring practice" and I picked Mews.

Yea, he was a PWO. His talent has always been there, it’s just that he’s like 5 foot 6, 150
After the spring game and now the continued performance against our defense, I expect some really big things from Waffle House this year
