How do you define "shite in practice"?

Curious as to where you saw this? I've only seen one practice report (1st day) and it said all of the QB's had a tough day. Also, pretty sure Beck has worked with his receivers all summer. Let's revisit after the first week and first scrimmage.

From what I've read, severely underthrown balls. Keep in mind what KS said after the natty, "If Stetson is a 7 (mobility), then a 5-6 won't cut it."

I read that all of the QB's are having to get used to our speed now that real practices have started. Also, not sure if any of the 3 QB's are as nimble as Stet, though BVG and Stockton are probably more of a threat to run than Beck. We'll see how it plays out. Still think Beck goes to NY though.

So your take away is that he plays like shite?

1 practice report?
On the entire report, only 1 critique?

It’s the off-season. People really used to say Hutson was better than Murray based on practice reports.

Hutson didn't turn the ball over. He was never the reason we lost a game. Murray played four years and improved greatly but the early Murray cost us games. Murray was as tough as any UGA QB that I've ever seen.

Hutson wasn't the reason we won them either. His balls (Pause) remind me of playing duck hunt. They just hung in the air forever.

Backup QB is the sexiest job in any fanbase.

I absolutely disagree.

We ran an offense opposite to Hutson's skillset.
He would have been perfect for a west coast offense.
Perfect in a Chris Peterson offense.

Instead, 80% of his passes were outside the hash marks. 65% of his passes were outside the numbers.

He had to read faster and anticipate quicker to be effective.
And his passing game helped our run game tremendously.

When we struggled to run against Missouri, he threw for almost 80% completion to help us move the chains.

When we struggled to run against Florida, he threw for 300 yards.

When we struggled to run against Tech, you could say that Mason let us down.
(Or you could blame penishead for giving up 400 yards rushing)

Incorrect. Hutson threw the pick that cost us the GT game on the final play for the win in 2014

We take it to a whole other level though. The Fields vs Fromm and Stet hate…even after the first CFBC was fricking nuts. Both Fromm and Stet did nothing but give everything they had for UGA and still had to put up with a ton of shite. Even Murray got his house rolled.

I hate to say it but I’m feeling those vibes from the Gunner fan base.

Y’all are both correct. What meansonny said is true and put us in position to lose on the final play and Mason threw the pick.

I know we’re only getting bits and pieces from camp but if y’all could just not turn this into a Hutson Mason/ 10+ yeas ago QBs thread, that’d be super great.

It wasn't Hutsons fault we had to go into overtime. Poor running game in the 2nd half and poor rushing defense all game cost us that game.

Practice is in pads today. I’m hoping for a report by this afternoon. I heard a rumor but will wait for that to see if there’s any mention.
