So long as Blankenship doesn't go Blair Walsh 2.0, I think we can write off this past game as an anomaly.

My point is that our percentages of winning goes way down when we miss kicks.
2019 Scar = missed 2
2018 Bama = missed 1
2017 Auburn = missed 1

It goes beyond HotRod
2016 Ole Miss = missed 1
2016 GT = missed 1
2015 Tenn = missed 1
2014 Scar = missed 2
2014 Florida = missed 1
2014 GT = missed 1
2012 Bama = missed 1
2011 Boise = missed 1
2011 Scar = missed 1
2011 LSU = missed 1
2011 Mich St = missed 2

In my head... anytime we miss, it feels like that Corey Smith song where every dawg has its day (but we keep losing).
Snakebite. Bad mojo.

Sure, losing points changes the complexion of the game. However, Rodrigo is usually pretty darned good, so this probably isn't the start of him being unable to hit water if he fell out of a boat.

I know this is a cliche', but turnovers will kill you. You can't win a game with 4 turnovers, a blocked FG, and a missed FG. SCAR had a few issues, but they didn't turn the ball over. Defense only gave up 10 points in regulation. That should be enough to win any game.

We also committed some stupid-arse penalties to kill drives or help SCAR extend drives. That roughing the passer call when SCAR was like 3rd and forever is a good example. I know our LB was tripped by a SCAR lineman and fell into Hillinski's leg, but all the ref saw was that he was hit after he released the pass...low.
