Former Georgia quarterback Eric Zeier is stepping aside as color analyst after 17 seasons to spend more time with family, according to the school.

Former Bulldog offensive lineman Josh Brock is replacing him with the Georgia Bulldog Radio Network.

Not to make it a Scott Howard thread, but I wish he would step down too.

Love Z. Agree on SH. But he had big shoes to fill.

No way I would step down from that gig. Another chance will never come again.

Careful, the ink isn't dry and it isn't trademarked yet.

Agree. The Peach Bowl missed FG and some of his calls in the TCU Nattie were embarrassing.

Ill see him in like a month and ask him. I know he has a lot going on and the gig isn’t his main income so.

Zier was the better half. Howard isn’t bad but definitely has missed some great call opportunities .

But he uses his mouth instead of his feet to fill those shoes.

Scott Howard comes across more as a cheerleader than a professional commentator calling the game

When he called the overtime vs Tech last year, it had to be soul crushing.

That's what he was hired to be. Munson was the very best at it.

I remember when Josh Brock was first getting started doing the Cartersville pregame radio show. I don't know if anyone knows who James Bates is (he's a UF media personality), but everytime I hear Josh Brock speak, it sounds like he's doing a James Bates impersonation and James Bates is his industry role model. Sort of strange.

What was your opinion of Munson then?
