No, as a matter of fact, I have no dog in this fight so I don't really care. I didn't see the initial comment or the context in which it was presented, so not sure how I would have felt about it. Obviously, you're perturbed by what you read and that's okay. Nothing wrong with that. Whether or not Peter is trying to walk back what he wrote, I really don't know and really don't care.
What happened is a tragedy but, unfortunately, there are heartless bastards in this world that are going to make light of it or even applaud it as some sort of deserved retribution for some group or another's crimes against something or other. It's the soulless world we seem to be living in.

FFS, why does everything have to be a fricking conspiracy on the right?
You've got a guy who is independently wealthy, a heavy gambler, obviously smart as shite, who had a father on the FBI's most wanted list. My guess is daddy issues and this was his way of one-upping ole pops the bank robber.
Sometimes when you're dealing with people like this guy with a chip on their shoulder, it can really just come down to "can I do it without getting caught first?". Well, he pulled it off and I don't think he gives a shite that he's dead. In his mind, he won the ultimate gamble.
For 8 years the right went on and on about Obama banning fricking guns. Gun manufacturers benefited enormously from this paranoia. Guess what, not a fricking thing happened. Not even modest regulations made their way through Congress after 20 fricking little 6&7 year olds were shot up in a fricking school.
No one is after your damn guns.
