I have refused to watch any video of the carnage. I just don't have it in me right now.

Is there video evidence that Aldean ran off stage before the shots? Was it in the middle of a song and he dropped his guitar, or did they just take a set break, then the firing started?

If what Buck is proposing is to be considered, we need a timeline. I'm not the person to provide it, because I don't want to watch that shite.

The shots rattled full auto for several horrific seconds before everyone on the stage WISELY ran. THis was after the terror screams from the crowd could be heard once they stopped playing their instruments.

He;s not proposing anything. Just soul-less e-snark for kicks. While people cling to life. And the country changes forever.

I was curious if he played at UGA. I thought he was the guy that did. He did run off stage and didn't warn anyone now that I watched a few more YouTube videos. I guess that was his right...

How gracious of snark man to allow him his rights. Based on watching youtube videos from the safety of home.

And the thousands of people in the crowd that immediately dropped to the ground and piled on top of one another? Were these cowards too, snark man?

Tell us more about the time you were ambushed by full auto so we know the cool way to react, please.

I watched too much of it probably. There's no words to describe it. Just gut wrenching.

I agree, shitty post by the OP. I've been in very close proximity of shots being fired off. Luckily they weren't at me, but at the time I didn't know otherwise. You REACT, but I can promise there is no manual or extensive training that makes you ready for it.

The video showed Aldean singing....shots rang out and he stopped and then resumed for a couple seconds. I'm assuming he realized it was not his pyrotechnics and then he, along with the band ran off the stage. The video I saw was from a fan, and other fans started changing "Aldean" as if his quick exit was part of the show. It wasn't until several seconds later people seemed to realize something was wrong.

The killer left a note and also filmed himself during the shooting, so they know a lot more than they're letting on. Probably can't reveal until they get girlfriend accomplice back to the states. I got a real bad feeling..

I think instinct is to take cover and assess the situation, though running would have been the best way for those in the crowd to have survived assuming they had egress that wasn't the choke point in the shooters line of site. I wonder if lives could have been saved if they said something as I'm sure there was a lot of confusion.

I saw reports earlier this evening that the POS worked for the government at one time.

I also read that a conspiracy theory is brewing and this was a botched FBI undercover gun operation that went bad and that details aren't being released because the Feds would be crucified.

Watch the videos. Listen to the police scanners. Listen to the sounds of death and panic and wailing all with a non-stop fully automatic machine gun soundtrack playing in the background...and then go snark yourself. Unreal

It's not unreal to wonder why someone didn't get on a mike and yell take cover or active shooter. I think it would have been the right thing to do.

Tell me more about the other stuff. I just watched one video that showed muzzle flashes coming from another area. It is bullshite conspiracy stuff?

It's a strobe light reflecting off the window from vegas strip.

The two rifles he converted to "full auto" with the bump stocks were also equipped with muzzle flash suppressors.

How did he use a bipod with bump stocks? That doesn't work?

There were multiple rifles. The one in the photo with a bump stock didn't have bipods. It had the barrel grip deal. And the high capacity mag.

So then... what's the story? What's all this about?

This whole thing looks to me like this guy had some legally acquired firearms that were also automatic weapons, was not a radicalized person on either side of the spectrum, no documented mental illness, no previous criminal record, supposedly wealthy....so at this point there really is no other course of action except to ban assault rifles, high cap mags, and more background checks.
