So is this a good hire or is this kind of like how we thought Jimbo Fisher was good but really he just had Jameis Winston. Hoping for the latter.

Think he is a very good offense coach. Bama prestige will help his recruiting, but he will have to adjust more to keep up with big boys in SEC.

Will be interesting

They will gibe him a Brinks truck to hire a DC and coaches who can recruit. It’s the culture he won’t be able to replicate.

I did my chores and helped momma with supper, and took care of both of my neighbors' dogs while they are out of town, and their cats, including scooping shite, not to mention catsitting my MIL's cat in-house.

Can we play hangman daddy?

Gold fever is real and Bama fans are dumbest of the dumb. I can’t even believe what I’m seeing and hearing about their reaction to a press conference. They are in for such a rude awakening

I read some shite about Saban actually staying on as some kind of GM to manage transfer portal and recruiting, is this true or just internet bullshite? There's so much bullshite flying around right now that I can't make heads or tails of it.

We played poorly and lost by 3 in our last game against Saban. The game before that we beat him in the National Championship.

We should be favored going into that game and we should win it. But it's never easy winning in Tuscaloosa, regardless of the coach. Possible? Certainly. I've been in Bryant Denny twice and watched Georgia win. But it's always tough.

This feels like one we need to win, though.

I guess we're not doing hangman. I'll go find a youtube rabbit hole to crawl down into and cry, wishing my father wasn't such a bad daddy.

It’s real. (For now). Saban will have an office in Bryant Denny. And DeBore has challenged him to provide one example daily where he needs to improve.

Gip gap a dip dap DOOO!!

Whatever. Remember when Spurrier retired mid season like a child then moved back to Florida the year after and was given an office in the swamp stadium to help the program??

Yeah. That shite ended quietly too. Because that type thing could never work . It’s also pretty obscene and telling that Saban and his wife sat in the front row of this thing today. 3 feet from the new coach like needy Spurrier vampires

And when you think of that December team that is currently disbanding….

Bama is shedding coaches and players faster than a Kardashian sheds her panties. There may not be a dozen players left from the team that LOST the Rose Bowl. Just wish it had been Georgia that sapped Sabans will to coach.

I get Mark Richt vibes from him as a coach. As in he’ll be just shy of top tier. He’ll beat 95% of the people he’s supposed to beat, a few of the ones he’s not and get blown out one a year for no reason at all.

Whoa whoa whoa. Let’s be accurate here. Luke was trying to save his father on board the Death Star.

My apologies for this incorrect post. I heard this from someone well-connected to Alabama football and posted it.

My gut is telling me that Deboer isn't going to last at Bama. Few thing said I don't think he can replicate the culture and he's not an SEC guy/coming from the PAC12. I saw in an interview that Saban is getting an office at the stadium. You don't want a legend hanging around after he retires. We had an exception with Dooley as AD but Dooley had been acting as AD and was always an administrator and delegator. I can see it now - AD tells Saban to go have a "talk" w/ Deboer after a tough SEC loss. Saban hanging around practices. NOT what they want.

Dooley hanging around wasn’t all that swell for UGA football
