I liked that too. Part of the process with the new coach should be letting the young players work through their mistakes.
Fox was literally coaching for his job so I think he felt more pressure to take players out when they struggled to appear he was doing everything to win the game.
ETA: Not to say Crean isn't trying to win but there isn't as much pressure to do so. It's more important to develop players this year for the future.

Crean will be fine. Our conference and schedule is brutal... if he leads this team to any post season, he should be considered for SECCOY imo... we’re not very good but we would be much worse under Fox.

I agree. I wasn't trying to slight Crean in any way.
Crean doesn't have pressure to win this year. He just needs to develop what little he has the best he can. Hopefully he can get some decent talent in the next couple years and make a solid push for the tourney in year 3.

We’re not good but that fricking offensive scheme is lethal... hopefully Crean will be here long enough to put it into action.

Well, sucks for people who have to work. Shocked hammonds had 31 but that’s a good sign. From the box score, it looks like a lot of other people were pretty quiet. Odd
