I want to believe but the whole Jaylen Brown saga crushed my UGA basketball recruiting soul.

With edwards I think we can be a tourney team next year, but what are we gonna do the year after? I know I'm getting WAY ahead of myself but in 2 years we will be without edwards, clax, crump, ogbedie, and potentially hammonds if he somehow decides to leave early. we'll have walton and toumani in this year's class which is a decent haul but I mean who the hell is gonna play in the post? Or guard? We currently have zero commits for the '20 class. I know that this is a LONG way away but it's a bit scary to think about.

We have a lot of freshmen on this year. Hopefully they develop. I’m actually more worried about post play than guard play in the long run.

we would have to use the momentum of whatever we accomplish with Edwards to fill the pipeline

If that didn't do it, Ashton Haggins did

There is no way in the world Hammonds is leaving early unless he transfers. Claxton has a lot of work to do before he can leave early either.

hagans didn't bother me. It was pretty clear that him and his family loved fox and jonas more so than our actual program, so when it became apparent that those 2 would probably be gone they did the logical thing for them. I didn't really take that too hard. Not to mention that if we did retain fox and pick up hagans, we have fox again this year (probably don't make the tourney) and would potentially be stuck with fox again for next year.

Crean was thought to be making a save on Haggins but no

Potentially program changing recruit. Weird to say that about a one and done guy but he can change the culture and perception of Georgia hoops.

Walker Kessler for the post. His name hasn’t been linked to UGA as much as it was when CMF was here but you gotta believe the family legacy still overshadows a lot.

I know he's supposed to be really good, and his uncle and dad were both solid back in the day, but I'd be lying to you if I didn't say the name Kessler still brings back bad memories

We are out for Kessler unfortunately. Big boys got involved and he dropped us. Virginia, Duke, UNC, maybe Vandy

FTR,I have no clue who this kid is. Never posted anything about basketball. I don't follow, etc.
Other member on our podcast threw out the news on this week's podcast. Can guarantee until this I've never posted about basketball lol.
