Damn. 2022 Bama was a more underachieving team than 2008 UGA based on the following NFL draft.

I see Will Levis hasn't been picked. I heard someone say he could be the #1 pick. But what a surprise that the Colts took AR. That guy was terrible at Florida.

Be really surprised Nolan isn’t 1st round.

Must be doubting his health?

Falcons with a good pick. Bijan in Arthur Smith’s offense is hand-in-glove.

Better pick than London?
Better pick than Pitts?

The Falcons just can’t pick Georgia players. Why the frick would you take a running back in the top ten?

When a team made it to the Super Bowl with 2 of the front 7 coming from UGA, then decide to draft 2 more making it 4 of the front 7…you know the coaches doing it right in Athens. Friggin amazing. I will be rooting for the Philadelphia Dawgs to win it all next year. Fly Dawgs Fly

Dean was a ST player last year and didn't contribute anything defensively and Jordan didn't have much impact either.

Just their 1st years but they did not have an impact.

B/c he was the best player on the board and the Falcons under this regime are strictly BPA.

You had the best player on offense (Bijan)and the best player on defense (Carter). They took the BPA on offense.

false

being "strictly" anything is fricking dumb. The falcons haven't been able to rush the passer in like a decade. They are, BY FAR, and not even a small margin but a WIDE margin, the worst in the league in that category. So instead of taking desperately needed help on defense, they instead take a skill postiion player for the 3rd time in a row wiht a top 10 pick. It's simply laughable at this point how dumb the entire organization is.

When you're as lousy on defense as the falcons are, if you have a choice beteween a great offensive player or a great defensive one, common sense should indicate to take the one where you need the most help. The falcons did the polar opposite. They had a 1K yard rusher last year, and the NFL is not a RB driven league anymore. Not to mention taking a RB that high is absurd and hasn't been done in what somethign like 5 years? There's a reason for that.
