I don’t claim to be a basketball expert, but how is Somto so damn big and athletic but so damn bad at rebounding? I know he’s banged up right now but even healthy he doesn’t dominate the boards the way he should.

I'm no Marty Blake, but Stagg looks like a future NBA player. He just pump faked behind the three point line, took one dribble and and cocked back for a dunk. Even though he missed the dunk, it was still something serious.

This team is so poorly constructed for SEC play. White needs a reevaluation of his strategy this offseason.

UGA lets that happen. I feel empathy for the eternally optimistic fans of this program. I lived in that space for a long while. It’s just easier and less frustrating to realize that UGA being good at basketball is a 1 in 20 year event and to enjoy those 3 to 4 seasons that you might get to experience if you live to see 80.

frick the basketball gods with an aids infested cock. We all know we’re decent this year. It’s just an invisible-unexplained force (like a a fart smell) that always holds us back thus time of year.

I guess it depends on your definition of decent.
To me decent, teams are not tournament teams.
Only good teams should be in the tournament and good teams don't get blown out by poorly ranked Oklahoma.
No doubt there is still a chance that we make the tournament but we sure don't look like team that could advance past the first game in the NCAA tournament.
As has been the case with Mike White, we have some good individual athletes but we don't play well as a team as a whole.

Correct. All hopeful bias aside, losing to a .500 Oklahoma team on the road by double digits sealed the deal. We’re out of the tournament. Apologies to all the trash talk that was directed towards the guy that said we were fools gold. He was correct.

I don’t think they’re completely dead but the team is lacking confidence. Not sure how you get that back. Hopefully JW comes back and provides some kind of spark. Need at least 4 more wins to feel comfortable.
