in season to change that. Only way Dawgs can win is on Beck's arm. Other than INT's, his stats are at top three in SEC. Hopefully he can reset and play clean, if not, Dawgs fans better be ready for more nail biters.

I think they need to get Bell more involved in the running game. Frazier looks good, he's just young. As I said on another thread, it was good to see little Dwight Phillips play. Some folks on another forum were saying he's already one of the fastest players on the team. I heard it could consistently run a 4.4 or even 4.3 on occasion.

This mentality that Freshman can’t contribute in the run game is ridiculous and history has proven it to be false over and over.

That seems to be more of a choice from the coaching staff for whatever reason.

Not sure why we are letting Carson throw it 50 times a game. A creative run game from under center or pistol I think could work. As others around the Internet have said, Beck does a lot better off of PA.

Take the pressure of the mental midget and try to establish run game early.

I'm not sure why we don't try to get our backs around the end and in space rather than up the middle with a O line that can't open holes.

Our passing offense is an extension of the run game. It works a lot of the time too.

I mean - I don't think we believe freshman can't contribute. But, at this point - we are playing freshman because there's NOBODY else left.

What's the status on RB room health?

Our starter has been good, but was hurt most of yesterday. 2nd and I think 3rd string out for season. We have a good freshman and Cash Jones who was done really well, especially on passing downs.

Cash is actually very good as pass protect and route running/catching. 3 is a better runner. I think 3 has a huge potential. elite acceleration and change of direction. Has some stuff to learn, but thats part of it.

Playing Nate Frazier as a Freshman is not doom and gloom. I see it as a good thing as he likely has the highest ceiling of all of our backs. The more he plays the better IMO. What I was saying about Jones was not a dig at him as much as a WTF regarding Frazier.

If Etienne is out with injury I think we only have Cash and Frazier at RB and we may be forced to use Bell at RB. I think Bell is effective but they may be worried about him getting banged up at RB. He's also our best receiver. Use him with jet sweeps and reverses which they have been doing some. We should also use more read option. I saw a few times we ran a read option and Beck handed it off when he could have gained yards by keeping. Probably worried Beck will get injured. I would say run more running sets with motion that spread the D out. Lot of times we just run off tackle.

Understand.

I’ll say this too. Cash has a chance to make an NFL roster. He is a special teams guy and great in pass pro and route running/catching.

That TD he made looked simple, but it was elite… nasty fake on the angle, got position on the LB, makes catch in stride, breaks three tackles while accelerating to the endzone with power.

That's a great question. Specifically, what are the expectations for a Rod Rob return? That's what really missing from this offense right now is a bruiser running back who can run people over to compliment APB backs who can get to the perimeter or be threats in the passing game
