I seem to remember something like that. Buy a special glass and keep bringing it back for nickel beer night. They rotated it like every 6 months or something, so it wasn't like it lasted forever but good deal still.
Didn't that place close down for a while? I feel like I tried to go on a visit back and it was empty as shite... my mind is foggy about that weekend in general now though...

Nickel Night was $0.05 glasses of some shite beer or rotgut mixed drinks. There was usually a cheap cover, but not always. A bunch of places did it on Tuesday nights, but there were 1 or 2 that did it on Mondays.
The best deal in town (price-wise) was "Drinkin' With Lincoln" at O'Malley's - penny beer on Sundays. I'm pretty sure it was spill tray runoff from Friday and Saturday, but it was cheap...
