Don't really know too much about the milf scene I'm still in school. I would probably check out Trappeze and Copper Creek.
Copper Creek is pretty cool they brew stuff in house and do $2 pints on Tuesdays.

Most of them are pretty good. Beauty of Athens is you can go bar to bar with no covers to worry about.
My favorites are Boars Head, Cutters, Magnolias, and Allgood. If you want freshman bars go to Silver Dollar or Bourbon. Nice beer go to Trepenhaus, Trapeeze, or Cutters.
