25th doesn't leave much time for yall to get your spikes back from the processor after opening weekend on the 18th.

Or are yall going to actually be sporty and use a bow and arrow?

Or maybe just change the date around....

First of all, Grantham left an amazing amount of talent for Pruitt. I'm not going to go through the whole roster, just know that I know that you are an idiot.

Just know that I know you result to personal attacks anytime anyone disagrees with you. So
It's well documented that you defend Grantham to the bitter end. As I said, I think he was a definite improvement over Martinez but hell almost any decent DC would have been. Grantham did improve the defense and we did get more talent on defense. But all that talent did not play well as a team and after they were gone we were left with way more Freshman than a well managed defense should have to rely on.

Right on cue!

Hey guise! I also hunt too but don't know how much hunting I'll be doing this fall since I'm about 1000 miles away from our deer lease.

I know ugasickem is a fisherman as well. I imagine Remington Dawg has to be a hunter right? I think there could be some good participation with this challenge.

Louisville's defense doesn't have half the talent that UGA's does.

Secondly, L'ville's offense doesn't have half the talent that UGA's does, which affects the defense.

The comparison is invalid from it's conception, you should delete this topic before too many people read it.

While true, Louisvilles opponents are not half as good as Georgia's, either.

my question is, even if Pruitt backs up all of his talk, how long will he be here? I bet we're looking for another DC in 2 years.

Your point being that we should hire a DC that nobody else wants, therefor he will stay?

WOuld it make you feel good to watch Grantham fail at Louisville?

I tend to agree. I'm not quite understanding the mentality of the board on many issues. Grantham came here and did not exactly light things up, and,MOST of us wanted him gone. He left on his own when he could have stayed.

Ok. Good. We got what we wanted. I, for one, hope he is successful at Louisville. Why not? If he is it would be good for him, and it would not be bad for Georgia.

Some seem to think it would be an indictment against Georgia if he is successful at Louisville. perhaps afraid we made a mistake by wanting him gone? You can bet on one thing....because of the way things went for him at Georgia, he will work his rear end off this year at Louisville to try to vindicate himself. It wouldn't surprise me to see them have a very good year defensively. Good for them and good for him. It doesn't change the success (or lack of) he had here.

Agree with this. I feel no ill will towards Grantham. As I said he was definitely an upgrade over Martinez and improved our defense. And yes, I would not be surprised to see him do well at Louisville. Grantham strikes me as a potentially sound DC still evolving within the college game. By any measure the man got more money taking the job at Louisville so it was a promotion in that regard. The Louisville AD must have thought well enough of Grantham's performance at UGA to offer him that much money. I wish him well and hopefully Pruitt works out well for Georgia.

You can buy them at the flea market and set them loose in your yard. Shoot them before the hawks get them.
