Can't agree with this. The departure of Willie Martinez ranks above Grantham. Grantham (and the numbers prove it) WAS an upgrade over Martinez. However, after fielding a mediocre run defense in 2012 with a boat load of talent, I knew we could do better and I'm just hoping that Pruitt is what we need. I at least like what I am hearing from him so far. Objectively though, Grantham left a pretty bare cupboard which hasn't gotten more scant with some pretty high profile players leaving the team. But if they don't want fall in line with Pruitt's coaching then it was better for them to move on. The net effect though is that Pruitt might well need a couple of seasons to get the players he needs to get the job done. Hopefully the few kids we have back there can step up but even if they do I'm very concerned about the lack of depth in the Secondary.

I couldn't disagree more.

First of all, Grantham left an amazing amount of talent for Pruitt. I'm not going to go through the whole roster, just know that I know that you are an idiot.

Second of all, the shitty run defense in 2012 was based on two factors- Factor One was that Rodney Garner was a shitty DL coach. Factor Two was that UGA played two teams that finished top 5 in the country in rushing that year. That skews the stats.

In Coach Wilson's first year as DL coach, there was an immediate improvement in run defense.

And once again, Olividotti had another linebacker on the All-SEC list.

The secondary shite the bed due to youth and inexperience. You can say it's Grantham's fault that he had to start too many freshmen in 2013 but the fact is that Grantham isn't in charge of who we sign. Richt is. Grantham isn't in charge of roster management. Richt is.

You are just another whispery bitch ex-girlfriend gossiping about how her ex roughed her up.

The new boyfriend is going to sweep you off your feet... before he roughs you up too.

I'm not going to talk very dirty about Grantham. Obviously, it wasn't all due to him, but:

4-0 v Tech
4-0 v UT
3-1 v UF (w/ the loss in OT)
2-2 v AU

Really, it all comes down to the UF game and Grantham for me. He took that game very seriously and I always appreciated that.

Why would you waste your time on lanier fishing for cats? You live in Athens and you drove to lanier to catch catfish?

A 3 lb spot on Lanier is nothing to boast about. It's one of the top spot fisheries in the world. 3 lb is average if you have somewhat of a clue wtf you're doing. Especially this time of year.

We can agree about the frick it on the weekend part. Unless you're on a booze cruise

I'm not either, I've got another good 4-5 years left in me. I figured I'd win by default during those years because you will still be drinking your beer with a nipple on it trying to get your boat to crank.

I was a guest on a rental houseboat with a hot tub on the roof. Some people brought glow sticks, i brought fishing rods.

And i know 3 is average on lanier for spots, but because i dont fish lanier, it was a hell of a spot.

I ate his trophy arse too.

You can't make this shite up.

Jefferson, how is this going to work? We've got a cat fishing no hunting yuppie vs an American bad arse. I don't see the competition here.

God dammit, spunky, if you aren't a model citizen of this great state idk what is. Maybe it's the beer talking but between this and reading the help board thread I'm laughing my happy arse off.

I also am thrilled to see this hunt off.

I didn't grow up rich with 1000s of acres of hunting land. I grew up on Allatoona Creek learning to fish with a cane pole I extracted from a rattlesnake patch, and with some line I stole from drunk daddy and a fish hook, I learned to fish at the age of 4. I didn't have the privilege of buying bait, and the land was too dried up and fire ant infested to kick over cross ties for worms. No grasshoppers because there was no grass. I had to snatch wasps and hornets out of the air, attracted to the smell of poverty on my unwashed body. I had to pick the cheek meat off of road kill for bait.

Because I had bad teeth, I couldn't bite the line off when I needed to break it. I was too week to break it with my hands, and we damn sure couldn't afford any kind of fancy swiss army knife. So I knapped my own points out of quartz and the occasional vein of flint. I also used these "primitive" tools to clean the fish I caught.

Don't even get me started on the numerous drifters that would roam the flood plains between the Etowah railroad tracks and Marietta, looking for little boys like me to sodomize in the cane break.

Meanwhile, your daddy taught you how to shoot a $1000 rifle at deer while on several million dollars worth of private land. "Good Boy" he'd say. "Why do we have to kill the animal daddy? We have food, lots of food, at home." Daddy says "We are managing the population, if we didn't hunt them they would eat all the crops and people would die in car accidents."

Tell me Clarice...

If deer hunting is about population management, and not big-dickery and bloodsport, then why is there a closed season on them? Why can't you spot-light them? Why can't you bait them? Why all these limitations on killing them, if they are such a nuisance?

TL.dR

Fair Warning:

I noticed some nice fox squirrels climbing around out back today.

So, go ahead and waste your money booking guided bear/mule deer/moose/tuna etc hunting/fishing trips to try and win this........

I'm being serious. I'll pan fry squirrel legs in a cast-iron skillet. And win.

It's all about Presentation..............

I skimmed through that, not reading it all because I have better things to do. But if you think I grew up with a silver spoon then you're mistaken.

You should spend more time building your own empire rather than being jealous of people who have their own.

Step one: Wash the bird shite off of your smoker.
