It was not a good first half.
For those that have never played a football game in cold, rainy weather, the football is difficult to catch and the footing is horrible. A slip by a WR and the defense has a pick 6 just as easily as a slip by a defender results in a long gain. I understand the reasoning behind the game plan but more outside running in the first half would have been much better than what we saw.

Kirby grew up in a time where QBs are a liability

I suspect his age is right at the average for a CFB head coach. I respect him wanting to play ball control football and have a rested defense, but even within that mindset, Coley’s play calling is ridiculous and sophomoric.

Every rule change over the past 10 seasons has been to benefit the offense, HS QBs are running complex passing concepts, I love defense but without Chubb and Michele, we aren't going to hit homeruns in the conservative run game,

Simply put, we have to be able to win a shoot out and win situational defensive plays.

Didn't stop UF from passing 30+ times vs SC.

The weather was worse in our game. And we were running outside the tackles successfully.
