People trying to relate Belk Bowl with Shreveport or something. It's not worse than the Gator or Music City.

The pro style offense employed by UGA is superior to any spread attack. Georgia is headed in the right direction but success is never guaranteed. The fans who want to tear everything down and start over are fools.

A 1960's style offense would be the Veer and Wishbone. Perhaps you have confused Tech with UGA as Paul Johnson runs a little more modern variation of the Wishbone known as the Flexbone?

Another pro style qb, a 1960's offense that is a predictable as another 9-3 season, an offensive coordinator who, given 6 chances, can't score on a glorified high school team from the 4.
You managed to ensure everyone knows you don't know shite about football in one post. Solid work.

Someone needs to make a sticky post to explain to pretentious Bowl-Snobs that there's a new pool system for setting up the bowl match-ups this year...... And that the old way of perceiving these bowls no longer applies.
It's not a coincedence that the overall slate of bowl match-ups this year is probably the strongest and most exciting it has been in a long time...........It's because of the new system.

How many times have you used the term "Blowbo" during games? I'm trying to see how smart you are.
Seriously, I can't believe Bobo detractors are still out there. Our offense scored over 40 PPG with the best player in college football missing half the season and a quarterback that could not throw the ball 20 yards downfield. All of this the year after Georgia's offense set all kinds of school record with skill positions decimated with injuries.

So we're upgrading from pretty mediocre to somewhat mediocre

Really? You can't believe that a guy who couldn't quite conjure up a touchdown against UCF *might* have a detractor or two?
He's capable of some pretty good highs, but he's got some pretty scary lows, too - and often enough in the same game.

Really, you picked the worst game in the worst season to use as an example that was 4 years ago...gtfo of here

UCF was a little while ago, though. he's been named the Offensive Coordniator of the Year for gosh sakes.

And this explains the problem with Georgia fans. they expect perfection. Not every play goes for 10+ yards and sometimes the other teams defense will put together an incrdible stop on the goal line. Remember last year and South carolina with our defense on the goal line? It's no supposed to happen. It shouldn't happen. But sometimes it does happen. That is football.

I know we got beat by 3 inferior teams that any other top ten team in the country would have beat. How do you account for perennial top 10 recruiting classes and NO national or SEC championships in a decade?
You must be one of those guys that is just fine with 9-3 and an occasional visit to the Ga Dome to come away losers to Alabama, LSU, etc.

Out of curiosity...do you think there are any other teams with top 10 recruiting classes that have not won a National championship in the last decade?

Words spoken by someone that simply does not have any facts to brig up. Let's resort to insults.
If you want to tie national Championships directly to recruiting, then saban should win the title each and every year. When Alabama signs the #1 class this year, it will be his fifth. He is the best coach, has the best players, great facilities.
I think Alabama should fire saban for not sinning it every single year. Your logic is flawless.

Actually, we have averaged top 13 recruiting class and are ranked 13th

I was pretty sure we have not had all top 10 recruiting classes, but I wasn't sure how we fell. thanks for doing the work!

Ok, so the statute of limitations is 3 years, then?
So then Bobo (and for that matter, Richt) has gone a combined 1-2 in bowl games in that time, and finished with 1 good ranking (5th), one ok (18th) and one non-top 25. Not really an "elite" resume.

For me it's not the timeframe as much as it is pinning a single game on him as if that's representative of his entire body of work. Even if the game were yesterday, that one game alone wouldn't define him.

Ok, more recent: 2012 South Carolina. Bettered the UCF performance by 1 point, and cracked the touchdown barrier, at least. Or the 2011 SEC Championship vs. LSU - a touchdown AND a field goal!
Like it or not, the dude's got some serious stinkbombs on the old resume. He's also got some very questionable calls/strategies, too. He's not hapless, but he is puzzling.

You simplay are not going to light it up every time. Take a look at Alabama verse Arkansas this year. How about georgia verses Auburn? Auburn has who many considered one of, if not the greatest offensive mind in college football today. (Malzahn) One score. It happens. We can go on and on, ut the poin it...it happens from time to tim. Can yu name one single offensive juggernaut team that did not suffer an occasional hiccup? I'm sure there is one or two out there, but thy are few and far between.
Oregon did notr eally suffer a let down offensively this year...but in 2013 they put up 20 verses Stanford and 16 verses Arizona. It happens. That is why it is so important to have a ood defense. You have to be prepared for the inevitable. But face it...Georgia set a school record for scoring last season and they broke it this season, I believe. THAT is impressive. It is easy to say, yeah but, look at the weapons he had. EVERY great offensive team had great weapons.

It's only gay if it's your face getting fricked. K9 being the face fricker is good to go.
