federal lawsuit can be a civil suit. Most of the lawsuits I file are in federal court.

What makes it a federal lawsuit (other than filing in a federal court)?

Why the difference? And why would this one be federal? Tia

Usually a suit is filed in federal court because it is a claim under a federal statute — like the Truth in Lending Act or a violation of the Civil Rights Act — or because the Plaintiff and Defendant reside in different states. I’ll pull this Complaint later and link it here.

Heck I need to update that. I moved to Cochran last year.

I heard all about this story last summer from a coach at Oxford. Was really hoping it would stay swept under the rug :banged:

The way I heard it Webb wasn't the one who encouraged the kid to drink it, and he wasn't there when it happened, so hopefully this goes away

The plaintiff stole Clay's sports drinks with no repercussions for a good while. Clay warned him to stop. He did not, so Clay did what he did into his own drink (that's a important feature here) and, sure enough, the kid stole it and here we are today.
That's how it happened

Law enforcement analysis from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences showed no evidence of bodily fluid in the Powerade bottle. I guess the kid drank it all.

“Brooks court filing also states that a law enforcement analysis from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences showed no evidence of bodily fluid in the “soiled Powerade bottle."

I hope they dismiss this shite soon. If not for Webb and Georgia just so it can be thrown in the face of clowns like Brian Finneran tweeting like Clay Webb should be drawn and quartered.

Concussed and shouldn't be on the radio except for guest appearances.

Same for Steak but he concussed himself with alcohol and shouldn't be a guest, should just go away, maybe back to Boston.

Sandra is ok.

I match Hoyt in more ways than I'd like to admit

I can't stand that crew except as you said, Sandra, and shes just ok. I am a sucker for the whole C&C crew and met them at the ND game when they did the radio show in Wrigleyville. Absolutely hilarious. They did the show and were TRASHED.

Also met Frank Duffy and that dude is a character. My favorite LSU fan.

He was buying folks drinks and then in my drunken stupor I bought him a round with Los and Hoyt and Frank apparently was blown away anyone would buy him one. I thought that was cool but then was like "wait, why did I just buy a realtor mogul a drink just to drink with him and two goobers on 680". Still awesome time.

If I were old man Dickey...

The front row would be:

Larry Wachs - point man (did time on sports X, after regular guys failed)

Sandra Golden - does well as a side kick, decent radio personality, and she and Larry "dated" at one point...

Guest Host Rotating- Hometeam, Brandon Adams, Finneran, etc etc etc, maybe do like Regular Guys used to do and if a comedian or rock star is in town, have that person on a few segments as a guest host.

This failed experiment with Steak and Bfin offends me every fricking day.

Kinda makes me happy that I moved too far away to get a good 680 signal.

I've been pretty happy with podcasts as a radio replacement.
