In the off-season. He's not necessarily leaving, but two teams will ask about him."
He ain't leaving, Dimino.

The only way he'd leave would be for NFL so he doesn't have to work 365 days a year and spend more time with his kids.

I truly believe this will happen eventually as CFB evolves into this new NFLjr model.

CKS is making more money than a lot of NFL coaches and saw first hand Saban’s run at it. Dealing with kids…even with NIL and the transfer portal - is a lot different than multimillionaire NFL guys.
Hopefully he learns to delegate and get some trusted assistants and stays with us for the long haul.

To contrast, what NFL team would really want him? Spurrier and Saban both flopped in the NFL, very quickly. Kirby is first and foremost a recruiter, which is meaningless in the NFL. His strongest point is irrelevant. Secondly, he's a motivator, which is easy for 19 year olds, not so easy with 27 year old multimillionaires. Sure, there are multimillionaires in college now too, but not your whole roster like in the NFL. As far as a coaching "genius" is he really that much more of a genius than many other coaches out there who worked their way to a P5 head coaching position?
The NFL has no use for him unless it's a talent evaluator analyst type position. His home is UGA.

I would have thought that if he didn't already do it. Guys like spurrier and saban and others dominate in college and are so alpha and copmetitive that they think "well I've already conquered CFB, let's see how I can do in the big leagues". Kirby obviously wasn't a HC but he's been an NFL coach so he already knows waht it's about, it's not some new magical thing.
Also worth noting that A LOT of kirby and saban's success is due to their ability to recruit and develop young players. In teh NFL that goes away and every team is full of 53 of the best in the world. Not saying kirby would suck, but I think he'd be in for a bit of a jolt since he'd be dealing with grown as men instead of trying to mold 18-20 year olds.
College is so utterly time consuming, as you mentioned, and it gets shittier eveyr year with what you're expected to do so I absolutely do not think he's going to be a bowden kind of coach that stays until he's 80. I can see kirby burning out relatively quick but hoenstly I don't care because he's already given us more than anyone could have asked for.

Was he the one that made fun of the ALS guy?

It was a 3-piece radio show on a now defunct station and Dimino was a bystander in the 2-minute bit. Dimino knows his shite when it comes to baseball, but any other sport he talks about is drivel. But he's still funny and I like him. Cellini, the real culprit in the ALS joke, is actually the funniest guy on ATL radio.

I wouldn't be surprised if some NFL teams made him some offers just based on the way he motivates and prepares his team.

And he'll parlay that into more money here.

But what if Kirby thinks he knows what Saban did wrong in the NFL and also thinks he can do it right?

Granted the hours are better in the NFL and you don't have to recruit but he gets paid a lot more handsomely at UGA and he's home.
Also how would his style go over w/pros?

That was Cellini, and it was funny as hell but it went too far and ultimately got them fired from that sinking ship known as 790.

Imagine listening to that retard and giving him credence.

It probably took him 14 minutes to finish that sentence.

All joking aside, Chris is a good dude.
