Anyone else thinking Kirby needs to bring him on board?

I'd rather write Joe Brady a blank check but Morris wouldn't be a bad option. Those Clemson offenses with Tajh Boyd and friends were really good

If he could somehow get him on staff and sell Coley on the "Co-Offensive Coordinator" title then I think that would be pretty amazing.

It needs to be someone who can recruit and chad sucks at that. Otherwise it's not a bad suggestion.

You are only allowed x number of coaches who can have contact with the athletes so we won't be paying two OC's.

Oh, he can recruit, he got 11 4-star players in last year's cycle.

Morris was a successful OC at Clemson but I can't help but wonder how enthusiastic he would be about at step down job after getting fired at Arkansas.

Kirby needs to get him as an off-field analyst this year and put him on staff next season.

So basically throw money at him to lock him up, then decide what to do with him later, like a put-option in day trading?

He's going to be an attractive commodity and I don't know what his options are moving forwards as a head coach.

Butch Jones is a quality control guy at Bama. Bert is an assistant with the Patriots. If you have bad HC stints, you’re not going to have your pick of the litter of head coaching jobs.

All I know is that by season's end, Chad Morris , Minnesota's OC, and mike Bobo will all be available. If Coley returns as OC , kirby clearly is being ignorant to the fact that Coley was a mistake .

Given his record at Arkansas, he might be pretty sanguine about an OC gig to rebuild his good name. Being on the Rich Kotite All-Stars list isn't a good thing.

What I’ve gotten from Clemson fans was that he was good, not amazing, but he did bring their offense to the 21st century. He created the system that was then built upon by Elliott and the other dude and taken to the next level.

It’s not going to happen but I would be ok with it. There would be growing pains but next year may be good for that. Again, it won’t happen but if somehow we moved on but if we did idk who would be better. I’m not convinced Bobo would come back and pick right back up. Not that he’d be worse than Coley either.

Why sell Coley on anything... just show him the door!
