Who is thinking he is a shoe in next year for QB1?

I do barring a transfer portal phenom and I think he is more than capable of leading us to another final 4.

What's the story with Brock? Why is he not getting any love?

Didn't he come from a very small school with no competition? I do believe I read on here somewhere that its too much.

That. He also totally revamped his throwing motion which is a setback. But if he can get it put together he has big time tools

Very realistic that Stockton is our starting QB next season. At some point, if not in the first game.

Beck has looked good overall in limited playing time.
At 6'5" he has good vision, a strong arm and decent mobility.
I prefer a dual-threat QB but Beck has stayed with our program and obviously worked hard to learn our offense.
Hopefully Stockton comes along and will be ready for the 2024 season.
Apparently Vandegriff isn't developing as hoped but then again Beck's development has been lengthy as well.
It will be interesting to see how things play out next season.

I think people are counting out Brock too quickly.
The reason makes sense. Gunner is picking things up very quickly (which makes Brocks development look bad).

That is more a success for Gunner than a knock on Brock.
Sometimes, comparisons are too simplistic.

If we are looking for the QB of 2023, I think it is still any QBs opportunity.
Beck has an edge with experience and reps with the 1s. But he hasn't "grabbed" anything. He still has flaws to correct.

Not the least of which is taking care of the ball when he runs out of the read-option. hahaa

I just ran into Carson Beck and his dad at a gas station in Jacksonville and he said he is going to the portal and a bunch of other stuff about other players on the team that may or may not come true. JT is definitely coming back though according to Carson and his dad.

I'm hearing a lot of good intel about Hutson Mason's arm strength and timing with our WRs. Really think he's going to step up next year and be the guy.

If we want dual threat though, it’s Faton Bauta’s to lose.

I'm glad this is what you take away from a low effort joke post

How are things going for you, Mr. Mason?
